
About Jessica
Jessica is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (#6820) and Registered Clinical Counsellor (#16848) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors respectively. Jessica is offering counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families.
With ten years experience, as a counselor, Jessica is skilled at helping individuals, families, and couples create effective, positive, and lasting change. She has experience as an educator, and counsellor in a variety of settings including community based mental health, schools, and agencies.
Jessica holds a Master’s of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. Jessica also has a Bachelor’s of Education degree from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in self-regulated learning.
Jessica has worked with a diverse population, expressing a variety of presenting problems, including but not limited to depression, stress and anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, separation and divorce, loneliness, self-esteem, anger management, life transitions, parenting, work and career, grief/loss, addictions, trauma and PTSD, and personal growth.
Jessica works from a Client-Centered approach to ensure that the counselling experience is effective and specialized to client needs. Jessica employs the use of many therapeutic modalities in practice including:
